Jack - Foster to Adopt Mixed Breed Savage, MN

Hi, my name is Jack! I came from Alabama. I sure do like Minnesota and the people here. I'm a bit shy and take a little time to warm up. I am a great boy, potty trained, and don't mind being in the kennel. I like chew toys, don't mind other dogs and cats. I wouldn't mind a housemate to be with but I'm fine by myself too. I have low energy and am generally quiet. I'll want to be with you as much as possible. I'm going to be your buddy and with you all the time. Hope to see you soon!!

Jack is Heartworm positive and is currently going through treatment. Once his treatment is complete, the adoption can be finalized. Once his adoption is finalized, it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on his treatment progress until he has a negative result which can take 2-9 months. During these months, you will need to make sure his heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise. Jack will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter.

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.
