Meet Jack
Meet Jack!
Jack was found abandoned in rural NC and is eager to find his forever family. He loves all people and his favorite thing is cuddles! Jack is full grown at about 40lbs. He can be a little timid in new situations, but warms up quickly (more outgoing than his sister, Jill).
Jack likes treats and carrying around soft toys. He is very praise motivated! He knows a few basic commands and walks well on a leash. He is still working on not jumping up when he's excited, but is easily redirected into a sit. Everything about living in a house is new for Jack, but he acclimates very quickly.
Jack is crate trained and hasn't had any accidents in his foster home. A regular potty schedule in his new home will help ensure he becomes fully housebroken. Jack plays well with his sister, Jill, but is initially intimidated by some (not all) new dogs through fences/gates. We suspect Jack may prefer his doggy friends to be female. He has not been tested with cats or small children. Jack is estimated to be about 15 months old and is fully vetted.
Jack is being fostered in Harrisonburg, VA. His adoption fee is $325. To apply to adopt Jack, complete the adoption application at beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt
