Meet Jack

Jack has found his forever home in Norfolk, MA with Melanie & Patrick K.

Adoption Coordinator: LK

This little boy is Jack, a 3 year old, 16 pound chubby Shih Tzu. He was found in a motel room several days after his owner passed away. Jack is a friendly pup who loves everyone he meets. He has low energy, happiest when he can has a lap to lie in while he practices being a couch potato. Jack currently uses a doggie door to go out to do his business and is not crated. He gets along with other dogs well but would also be happy being an only dog so that all the attention is paid to him. He is not an anxious or insecure pup so apartment living would suit him just as well as living in a mansion out in the country. He has not been cat tested so a cat free home would be best. Jack is missing an eye but you'd never notice it because of his winning personality. He is not here for you to meet prior to adoption. Jack is going to go fast so apply for him ASAP! His adoption fee is $425.

Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up. If you are approved to adopt, please submit the $100 deposit by clicking on our rescue's name in this posting (Forever Home Rescue New England--in purple) which will bring you to a new page with the deposit link at the bottom. STOP! If you have not been notified of your approval status do not make a deposit.
