Meet Jack

Jack has found his forever home with Tanya and Ben in Salem MA!

NOTE: Jack is still in the south and not here for you to meet. He will most likely be adopted sight unseen without having a chance to be fostered up here. If you are comfortable with this type of adoption, the first step is to submit an application. Please read all about our wonderful rescue and submit an application at at www.foreverhomerescue.org

Adoption coordinator Kathy

Meet Jack! He’s a cute beagle boy who is 2 yrs old and 28 lbs. he was surrendered because his owner couldn’t afford to care for him. He’s high energy and needs an active home and fenced space to run (he’s not a good fit for an apartment or condo). He loves to play. He loves other dogs, but has not been cat tested. He’s house and crate trained. He likes to climb on the back of furniture. He hurt his spine, near his head, likely due to falling off the back of a couch. He seems ok now and has done fine without meds for over 2 weeks. He needs to be prevented from climbing on the back of the couch and crated while away. He needs to be walked with a harness. He’s described as darling, super sweet and cuddly. Adoption fee $400.

Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up. If you are approved to adopt, please submit the $100 deposit by clicking on our rescue's name in this posting (Forever Home Rescue New England--in purple) which will bring you to a new page with the deposit link at the bottom. STOP! If you have not been notified of your approval status do not make a deposit.
