Izzy Labrador Retriever & Border Collie Mix Bandera, TX

Welcome Izzy to CCPAL. Izzy came from Kerrville. We received a call about some sweet dogs that needed a rescue. She is 4 months old and she is a Bordador. Border Collie/Lab. She has the most charming big ears. She is a little shy but a very nice girl so a home that will allow her time to settle in and patience while she learns what is expected would be the best home. She would be a good family dog and most likely with kids of 7 years or older would be her preference if she could tell us. She is playful and fun with her brother. She isn’t mean to cats but too playful and irritating so we say the best home would be without cats. She is good with other dogs and would be best in a home with another dog. The other dog can show her the ropes. She is smart and should be 35-40 pounds full grown. She is a beautiful dark chocolate color with white on her chest and around her paws. She would be best in a home with a fenced yard over an apartment like setting. A family that is outdoorsy and fun would be her best home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with a transporter to deliver her to Washington, Portland, all along the East Coast, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Vermont. She is up on her shots, spayed and ready for her forever home.
