Meet Ivy Chloe Madison
Quick Facts:
Age: 4-5 months
Breed: Pit Mix
Weight: currently ~25lb, and we expect her to be close to ~60lbs full grown
House-Trained: Working on it
Crate-Trained: Yes, and goes to the kennel on command!
Her backstory:
Ivy Chloe Madison was found by a Good Samaritan with a terrible head injury. She was taken to the vet, where it was found that she had a skull fracture with three pieces of bone lodged in her brain. She had the bone removed and the fracture fixed. She was blind and could not walk at first. Her hearing was also impaired. Her foster family has taken amazing care of her, and now she runs and jumps like a normal puppy. She still has limited vision and probably limited hearing, but that doesn't stop her. She is currently on seizure meds; if she can go six months without a seizure, the doctor said she wouldn't need to take them anymore.
Her personality:
Ivy Chloe Madison is a little adventure buddy! Wants to be everywhere with everyone and do all things active. There is no slow motion for her. She loves all dogs and even cats. She greets them like they are her best friends, so some dogs may not like that.
She is a typical puppy. We are working on manners and housebreaking. She often needs to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night still. Her coordination is also off. She can be very clumsy, like a “bull in a China shop.”
