Meet Iris
The Toy-Loving Dynamo with a Heart Full of Play
Look at this gorgeous 3-year-old, 56-pound Catahoula mix with a playful streak and a toy collection she guards like a dragon with its hoard. She’s all about romping in the yard, chasing after her favorite toys, and showing off her goofy, energetic personality.
Iris thrives on fun and structure. She’s crate trained, house trained, and loves her crate—it’s her personal toy kingdom. Sharing isn’t exactly her strong suit, but can you blame her? Her toys are top-notch! To keep the peace, she’s best in a home where toys and chewables are carefully managed.
Iris does well with male dogs her size and would love a buddy to roughhouse with. If she’s flying solo, she’ll still make you laugh with her playful antics and keep you company with her easygoing nature. She’s great with adults and older kids but might accidentally knock over a little one in her excitement—she’s just that enthusiastic about life.
While Iris has a moderate energy level (4-5 out of 10), a big yard where she can stretch her legs and get her zoomies out is ideal. She’d do equally well with an active family or a quieter household, as long as there’s space for her to run and play.
