Indy's Story

For return calls on Indy, please submit an application. It is much more productive to speak with you when we have an idea about your living situation. Due to limited resources and time, we will not be answering questions or returning calls until we have an approved application. That is the first step in our adoption process.

Her adoption fee is $500
Applications can be found on our website:
https://www.jessaminehumanesociety.org

Just as we say for all adoptions, be sure to do your research on the breed before applying to adopt. This is an extra large breed. This breed needs an alpha owner, lots of socialization and exercise. Indy MUST go to a home with a fully fenced yard to provide safety and proper exercise time.

Indy is a 1 year old, female Cane Corso. She currently weighs about 100lbs. She has been in the same home since she was born and well taken care of. The current owner just doesn't have room for another large dog. She is a sweet, playful girl. She has been in a home with older children and loves them. She hasn't had any issues meeting new adults. She does not like cats or small dogs. She would likely do well in a home with no large female dogs. She spends most of her days outside in a fenced area. She is crated during the night. She is working on leash walking. Potty trained to 100% will not take long since she is already trained when crated.

Before she is adopted, she will be spayed, UTD on all vaccinations, microchipped and dewormed.
