Meet INDIE
This is Indie! Her sister, Pez, was taken in by Ridgebacks in Need as she resembles a petite Ridgeback. Indie was not initially rescued, as her gorgeous brindle coat did not fit the Ridgeback description and we were hopeful that someone would adopt her from the shelter. That didn't happen, and Indie was slated for euthanasia. We couldn't let that happen to Pez' sister, so we went back for Indie.
She is a fun, loving, playful, SMART puppy and is doing great in her foster home. She is respectful of the senior Ridgeback in the house, and is able to get into mischief all on her own. She has already learned "sit" and "wait" and is working on "down." She is crate trained, working on perfecting potty training, and is doing well on leash. Indie is going to be a great, active companion for someone who likes to get out and about.
Mazie will be available for adoption soon! Our application is available on our website, rincal.org. She is currently in Sonoma County.
