***Indie***<br/>1-2 year old female black Labrador Retriever mix<br/><br/>Hi everybody! My name is Indie and I can't wait to find my furever family! I'm a black Lab mix and everyone tells me how beautiful I am with my espresso highlights and silky coat.<br/><br/>I'm a young girl at about 1 year old and I have the energy to prove it! I get the zoomies a few times a day. When I'm really excited, I sometimes want to jump on my people I know I shouldn't but I'm just so excited! <br/><br/>I need a family that can help me stay active whether its going on lots of long walks or a fenced yard where I can zoomie, it doesn't matter to me. A family with older children might be fun, too, so they can run and play with me (no children too small though, I don't want to knock them over in my excitement). You know what they say, a tired dog is a good dog! By the way, I'm still practicing good leash manners so I hope my new family will be patient with me as I continue to work on that. And just so you know, the other thing I'm working on is potty training. I'm about 98% there but there was this time (or two) when I had lots of water to drink.<br/><br/>I'm a pretty confident girl so I don't need a doggie brother or sister but I would love having doggie friends to play with once in a while. Maybe a doggie neighbor, some cousins or even visits to doggie day care would fun! I try to get my foster brother to play with me all the time but he is more the couch potato type...if you know what I mean. <br/><br/>In case you were wondering, I've never met any cats so I'm not sure whether I would like them or not. If you have a cat and think I might be a nice addition to your family, lets talk.<br/><br/>By now you probably think I'm all party girl but I have a softer side, too. I can nap and snuggle with the best of them! I'm good in my crate, enjoy belly rubs, sleep through the night and love being with my people after a long day. Oh, I almost forgot, my foster mom says I snore softly when I'm sleeping.
