India – a beautiful, friendly 2yo dog who loves pets and belly rubs! If you stop petting her, she will gently paw you to remind you that you have stopped in case you were unaware :)
India is house-trained and is working with her foster on a “notification signal” when she needs to go outside. She has been doing great on a schedule but may need a few days to acclimate to a schedule in her forever home!
A complete sweetheart, India does very well with adults and kids. She does however like to jump up and bark when she plays sometimes which may take young kids by surprise. We are recommending either dog-savvy kids and/or older kids in her forever home, if any.
She has met other dogs and while is not a big fan of energetic puppies, she has been doing well with slow introductions with other dogs.
52-pound India is OBSESSED with tennis balls and thinks they are just the best toys ever! She also loves going for walks and smelling every single blade of grass. When she is tuckered out, she is completely content to lounge around, cuddle, and get pets!
India does like to talk often so shared walls are not a great match for her. She would love to have room to roam and run with her humans! A fenced in yard would be amazing as she loves to explore, but she is also content with walks each day if no fenced yard.
India is an incredibly sweet and wonderful pup who cannot wait to find her forever home!

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, & Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant including registration. Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown. All ages and breeds are best guess.
Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 90-mile radius of Minneapolis; however, we will consider up to 250 miles if the adopter is willing to drive to cities as needed.
