Meet Ida
Who doesn’t love a sweet Senior Beagle? Just look at her adorable face.?
This sweet and gentle girl is Ida. Ida found herself at the shelter when her owner passed away. She may be considered a senior at 9 years, but this girl is just the right amount of active. Like most beagles, Ida enjoys her outside time, sniffing and exploring. She walks well on a leash. When back inside, it’s lots of cuddles and lounging. This 37 pound girl is housebroken and been around children. She doesn’t seem to mind the dogs at the shelter, cats are unknown. She was checked out by our vet for a mass on her chest, and while it was benign and not causing her problems our vet felt it could later, due to its location close to vital organs. So tumor was removed and Ida is healing well. Ida is pretty adorable and will make a great companion. Losing her person and ending up in the shelter is not the way to spend your golden years. Ida needs to find her family and her forever/retirement home. Who’s going to be Ida’s “Happy Ending”?
