Hyena Harry Chihuahua Mix Manhattan, KS

Hyena Harry is a beautiful blond little mixed breed weighing in at only 22lbs. He is spunky, athletic, and fun-loving. A fenced area outdoors for him to run circles a couple times a day is ideal for his energy level. Other dogs to play chase with would be even more perfect! Six weeks in foster care have turned him into a cuddle bug who will jump right into the lap of a visitor to our home and beg for pets and scratches. He loves his other small foster brothers and even grooms them! He is not guarding his food anymore, but he will try to steal everyone else’s food if given the chance, so he still has to wait behind the baby gate for the slow eaters to finish up. Harry gets outings to the back yard every 4-6 hours during the day to potty and does great on that schedule. He is currently kept in the kitchen while his family is away because he is known to steal a sock or shoe if given the chance. Harry’s relationship with the family cat is OK, but she looks too much like a squirrel, and he will chase if she runs. Harry is neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on his shots and preventatives and requires a $220 adoption fee to keep our rescue up to date on food and vet bills!
