Lady Hydra is in the house! That's me, and with my quirky ears and sable-black coat that is slick and shiny in all the right ways, I'm quite the gal. I'm an adult female who arrived here as a stray in mid-June. The shelter has been hard for me -- I'm easily overwhelmed and have been fearful at times. But when I'm outside for my walk or playtime, I'm affectionate, focused, and outgoing. My new family will need to give me space and time to adjust to each new thing I encounter. I don't want to live with kids under 12 (their energy can overwhelm me) and I'm not good with cats. But I do love other dogs!
