This extremely handsome lad is Hyde!

Hyde is a 4-month-old Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix with a fluffy coat, soulful eyes, and a heart that’s learning to trust. Found wandering the countryside with his siblings, Hyde’s journey hasn’t been easy—but this special pup is ready for his forever home.

Hyde is incredibly smart (he already knows “sit” and “high five”!) and fully house-trained. He’s been working hard on building confidence and overcoming fear-based reactions, and he’s made amazing progress in his foster home. With gentle redirection and positive reinforcement, Hyde blossoms—he just needs someone who understands sensitive souls like him.

This sweet boy thrives in calm environments and would do best in a home without small children. He’s not a fan of chaos, but he is a fan of cuddles, quiet companionship, and gentle play. Hyde gets along well with dogs his size or smaller and would love a canine buddy who’s mature, laid-back, and kind. Bigger, high-energy dogs can overwhelm him, so a home visit will help ensure a good match.

Hyde is a loyal little guy who bonds deeply with his person—he looks to his foster mom for reassurance when the world feels big and scary. He’s not quite ready for leash training yet (vaccines first!), but it’s next on his list of life skills to conquer.

Hyde is neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225.
