Hwangdong Jindo Mix Long Island City, NY

Our lovable Hwangdong’s here and ready to be adopted! This cutie’s a male Jindo mix that’s 7 months old and weighs about 25 pounds. We rescued him from the Gyeongsang-do shelter in Korea and now he’s in NYC for adoption! Once he’s comfortable, Hwangdong’s best described as affectionate, sweet, playful, and smart. He LOVES cuddling, getting lots of pets, and sitting on his foster’s lap - we mean it when we say he’s affectionate! Hwangdong’s also a fan of chewing on bully sticks, playing with toys, hanging out with his foster’s dog, and learning new commands (he’s a quick learner). He’s doing awesome with crate training and he’s potty trained, too! Hwangdong would do best with a patient adopter that can help him build more confidence outdoors and around strangers. Our adoption radius is now within 30 miles of the following locations: NYC, Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Western & Eastern CT. You must be able to pick up the dog at our office in Astoria, Queens (no exceptions). You must wear a mask and practice safe social distancing when traveling and picking up the dog.
