Hux Pit Bull Terrier Baldwin, MD

Hi, I'm Hux. I'm a handsome guy looking for an active household to call my own. The first thing you should know about me is that I have a TON of energy, so I'd really love lots of space and a nice yard for me to run around in. I love getting attention and have been friendly with everyone a the shelter. I can become a little overexcited and may jump up, so some basic obedience training would be a great opportunity for me to learn my manners AND for us to bond! I came in as a stray, so not much about my history is known. The people who found me had a young child and cat, who I showed no aggression towards, but I was a little too excitable with them. I am really just a big puppy, and am not fully aware of my size so keep that in mind if you have little ones. Medical notes: Hux presented with a recently shaved area and scar over his Right knee. It is suspected that he has had surgery recently on his cruciate ligament in his knee (similar to an ACL repair in people). At this time Hux is using the leg well with no signs of pain or lameness.
