Huntley – Boxer mix – 2 ½ yrs – male (53lbs)

Say hello to our boy, Huntley! This handsome guy was dumped at a construction site in the middle of our summer heat. The workers fed him for a few days, hoping someone would come back for him, but when no one did they took him to a county shelter to get him out of the 115 degree heat. He was pretty stressed at that shelter so we swooped him up and brought him with us.

Huntley is an energetic dog, but not hyper. He will be great as a jogging or hiking buddy. He plays well with other dogs if they’re the right match. He prefers to run and chase, he’s not into much rough-housing. He loves his walks and is a pretty easygoing walker. He loves people of all ages and will lean up against you to force you to pet him. He will romp through our baby pool and loves to splash. Huntley is happy, affectionate, and enjoys life. The shelter environment causes him some stress, but we believe once in a home he will relax, gain some more weight, and become an amazing BFF to some lucky person!
