Meet Sir Hunter
Retriever/Lab Mix | Male | 10 years | 53 lbs | Adoption Fee $200
Requirements: Children 8+ | Single Family Home | No Cats
Hi there, I’m Sir Hunter! I’m an old guy who is very low energy and likes to be my foster mom’s shadow. I know my name, I am fully potty trained, sleep on the rug next to my foster mom’s bed and know how to sit. I love belly rubs, treats, and a good bone. I’m not a big couch lover, as it is hard for me to climb up.
I sometimes get overly excited and vocal when someone’s at the door but we are working on that. I may scare smaller children because of my loud barking. In my foster home there are three other dogs who I get along with, but don’t really like to play with much (my beagle foster brother gets the zoomies and I'm not a fan). I mostly just lay near the other elderly dog.
As you can see from my picture I lay a little odd for someone who has just recovered from my broken hip, but we all have our quirks!
My foster family tells me I'm a good dog, and now it's time to find my forever home!
