Hunter in NH Hound Mix Manchester, NH

UPDATE: we have had 3 more weeks to evaluate this dog and he is a wonderful pet. We have seen no aggressive behavior. He now loves his leash walks!

Hunter is a lovely male hound who will make a great pet for and adult family or one with teenagers. He was unable to cope with the stress of toddlers and was resource guarding the sofa. He is completely housetrained and hasn't done any destructive chewing. He will stand at the kitchen counter so foods need to be kept out of reach. He still needs some leash training but is far from terrible when walking. Due to his hound nose, off leash is not an option. He gets along very well with the 7 dogs in the foster home and is fine with the cat.

All Motley Mutts Rescue's puppies are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. All adult dogs are also tested for heartworm prior to transport that are older than 6 months. All puppies and adult dogs will have seen a NH vet for a health certificate within 14 days of adoption. Unless otherwise noted adoption fees range from $450 on adults and $550 on puppies and adults. Adoption fees reflect the costs we incur on vetting and transporting the dogs. All Motley Mutts are in NH for you to meet to see if there's a connection prior to adoption.
