My name is Hunter. I am a 3-month-old, Black Lab mix boy. I was cooped up in a cage at Springfield Animal Control for about six weeks, which was NOT fun at all. But I am a lucky boy, because just when my time was almost up, the nice folks at Rescue One picked me up! Now I'm hanging out in a foster home just waiting for you to make me your very own. I'm still just a puppy, so I'm still learning the ropes when it comes to all the big dog skills like house, crate, and leash training. I love other dogs and kids, so I hope one or both are part of my forever family. I haven't met any cats yet, but as young as I am, I bet I would be just fine with dog savvy cats. I can be cat tested if needed. My forever home needs a fenced yard for me to run off all my puppy energy. Like most puppies, I love to play! I might do okay as an only dog and could possibly live in an apartment if I get lots of time to play and run around in a fenced area on a regular basis. An active family would be great! My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
