Think you and Hugo might be a match?

Meet Hugo

Hugo was purchased as a puppy to a couple who lived in an apartment building. So little, quiet, and fluffy, THEN he grew up to be a typical malamute puppy! Howling when left alone and destructive when bored. Luckily he had people looking out for his best interest. Instead of being bounced around, Hugo ended up with a Malamute savvy foster mama who reached out to us to help find him his forever home.

Currently, Hugo weighs about 60 lbs. but will grow up easily up to 120 lbs.

Hugo is a typical malamute puppy who gets bored easily, likes to jump up, and is mouthy. He is learning to be a good canine citizen from his foster mom who is also a professional trainer. Luckily for Hugo, he is receiving positive rewards-based training. He does well playing with other dogs outside the house and may be able to live with a female companion.

If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog, please complete an application online via our website: https://www.chaamp.org/ or email: CHAAMPapplication@gmail.com for an application.

Your application helps CHAAMP determine a good match based upon your lifestyle, other pets, etc. We are happy to work with you. A home visit is required prior to all adoptions. You can visit the Malamutes once you're approved for adoption. Alternatively, you may volunteer and learn how positive reinforcement brings out the best in Malamutes.

CHAAMP accepts applications from Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington DC.

ADOPTION FEES
~Adult dogs (two-seven years old): $275.00
~Older dogs (eight years old or over): $100.00
