Huey Cattle Dog & Terrier Mix Phoenix, AZ

Oh Huey....good thing you are good looking! This kid has tremendous potential, however, he will need a patient, disciplined, and active home. Huey was found as a stray, he literally followed a volunteer for blocks. We went back to the neighborhood where he was roaming on numerous occasions looking for his people. No one recognized Huey and he too did not seem to recognize the area in which he was found. Huey has made tremendous strides while in our care. He thrives on routine, exercise and to be engaged and busy. He is a playful pup who loves to be in the company of people and the center of attention. He does well on walks, LOVES to play in the water and will eventually be a good companion with another dog. We are currently working on special training for Huey with our friends at Learning Paws. When Huey finds his forever home, Poverty's Pets will sponsor his continued training to help him adjust to his new surrounds and to successfully continue on with his journey. We adore this beautiful kid, he is the definition of a love-able goofball! Huey is potty trained and understand the dog door! He loves to play, play, play and to be with his people! This kid will do well in a home that has a lot of land and an active lifestyle, and as mentioned prior, a patient and disciplined owner.
