Hello friends! My name is Huckleberry Joe. I am a 6-month-old, large, hound mix puppy. I am dog and people friendly. I am crate trained and potty trained. I alert that I have to go outside by going to the door. I am working on leash manners, but I can get distracted by a scent trail. I am a snuggly, floppy, goofy, bouncy, loveable boy. I have lots of energy and I love spending time outside. I am working on appropriate play manners, but play will need to be supervised. I am highly food motivated which helps with training. I love toys and enjoy food puzzles. I sleep quietly in my crate until my foster mom’s alarm goes off in the morning. I know how to sit and wait for my food bowl to be set down on the floor. I am working on the leave it command and boundary training to stay out of the kitchen while my foster mom is cooking. I am a typical loud hound in that I bark first with everything, but I am just a big chicken. I can do stairs and jump in and out of my foster mom’s truck.
