7yo, 50-pound Beagle / Hound mix
House-trained, Crate-trained
Health: Huck has been diagnosed with Glaucoma in both eyes. His left eye is totally blind but still has sight in his right eye. To help his right eye, he is taking daily drops. The cost is approximately $37 for Dorzolamide (every 3-4 weeks) and $22 for Latanoprost (every 2-3 weeks).
Other Dogs: Would enjoy another canine in the home.
Cats: Unknown.
Kids: No exposure but due to his laid-back nature, he would most likely do well.
Huck is a sweet and easy-going pup who loves his humans and enjoys following his nose! He would do best having a fenced yard with his own space and needs a home without shared walls due to his Beagle howls.
Huck enjoys going for walks followed by a nap in a sunny spot on the floor. Having a canine friend would be great, but he would be okay flying solo too!
Huck cannot wait to find his forever home filled with lots of good smells to follow, love and outdoor activity!
His adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, & Bordetella), HW and flea/tick preventative, and microchip implant and registration.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best guess.
Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 75-mile radius of the Minneapolis, MN city center.
