Look at me and what do you see?! I am a blue merle & a handsome guy, not really sure what that makes me. Some guess Aussie mix, Schnoodle, Irish Wolfhound; nobody knows. Foster mamma says I’m 100% Adorable,Lovable,Sweetdoodle. What those that knows say - is I’m about six months of age and a little skinny @ 32 pounds. I think I’m going to be 35 or 40 pounds now that I’m not on the run & get to fill up my tummy daily. What you don’t see is the six months before I got here of uncertainty and fear of what was next. I was found as a stray along with my brother; my foster mamma believes we came from a puppy mill, maybe we escaped, maybe they ditched us, maybe we were born in the wild. So please listen when I tell you I am timid and fearful & a flight risk.
I am already making great progress in my foster home and I do so love to be held and belly rubs are just the darn bestest! But when you release me I will run away from you like you’re all new again so listen when I tell you in case you missed it, I am a flight risk and I need a fenced yard to keep me safe so I don’t run away because I so want to stay. Hubert would do best in a home with a gentle dog to help build his confidence, patient humans and someone who is home a good portion of the time.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally, if fencing is required it must be a physical fence and in place at time of home visit.

All our dogs have been treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption.
