-Can Live with Kids: Howie is easily riled up by fast movements and commotion, and would not do well with young kids who aren't able to read his body language. At this time, we're recommending an adult-only home, or at least one with dog-savvy older kids aged 16+
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history, will need slow, supervised intro
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, Howie has been a neutral dog and will likely due fine with another dog-savvy dog. Introduction done here at WHS.
-Can do Apartment Living: Yes, with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation
-Potty Trained: Appears to be!
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: No
-Energy Level: Low/medium
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No

Additional Information: Meet Howie the Chowie! Howie is a smiley boy who is a little "ruff" around the edges. He came in as a stray so we don't know much about his history, but he's really enjoying the good food and TLC he's receiving at the shelter! We see Howie thriving on a large fenced property where he's free to roam and explore to his hearts content. He'd look great riding shotgun in a pickup truck! Howie does have some skin and flea allergies and will need a treatment plan to help control his flaky, yeasty skin and hair loss.
