Howdy is a fun-loving, friendly young dog bursting with energy and ready for adventure!
He’s playful, intelligent, and loves retrieving toys, making him an ideal match for an active, heeler-experienced adopter who enjoys daily jogs, hikes, or engaging in dog sports.
Howdy is crate-trained, leash-trained, and highly motivated by toys. He thrives in a structured home that provides consistent, positive guidance and plenty of activity to keep his mind sharp and focused.
Howdy gets along well with other playful dogs with the same energy level. He would do best in a home without cats or small children.
Howdy has made excellent progress in his training, including house rules, impulse control, and dog socialization. He’s ready to keep learning with his future family, who have experience with the herding breed.
Howdy is currently in training with The Texas Dogfather, where he’s excelling. He comes with a special gift: training transfer lessons to ensure a smooth transition and help you bond with this incredible companion.
A tired heeler is a happy heeler, and with Howdy’s friendly, exuberant personality, he’s sure to bring joy and excitement to the right home!
Howdy is a year old, has a docked tail, and weighs 34 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and taking heartworm and flea prevention.
