Meet Howard!
Month ago Howard was spotted on our property hiding in the hills! Hickory has about 250 acres of land! it took us a week to catch this guy and he was completely exhausted and covered in ticks.. unfortunately this isn't the first time an animal has been dumped on the property. We are happy we were able to catch him before he was seriously injured for starved.
Howard is happy and healthy and his personality has definitely come out! We think he is about 1 to 2 years old. The shelter has caused him some stress and he has some separation anxiety when the staff leaves his side but who can blame him? Howard is great with children and good with other dogs.
