Hot Sake (AKA Saki) Mixed Breed Fairfax, VA

When it comes to Sake, some like it Hot. And those are exactly the kind of people who would adore Hot Sake, the fun and flavorful dog! Hot Sake is a young adult, beautiful girl dog with a warm and friendly personality to match. She enjoys long walks (and even runs) through the woods, belly rubs, and napping under a blanket on the couch. Hot Sake loves playing fetch outside or "find the ball" inside. Hot Sake originally came to the shelter as stray and was returned due to adopters not having the time to care for her. Hot Saki impressed her short-term adoptive family with her mastery of potty training and knowledge of commands sit, stay, drop it, and paw. Hot Saki is strong on leash and has an instinct to chase small animals. She may prefer to be your one and only dog in the home. If you have another canine family member, please make sure to bring them in to meet Hot Sake and make sure she is a good fit for your pack. Recently Hot Sake went on a field trip with a volunteer to Burke Lake. Our volunteer had this to say about her.

"I just do not understand why sweet Sake is still with us. She was the best girl on our power hour at Burke Lake this morning-walks nicely on a loose leash, and sits and waits when asked. She was most interested in all the new smells-and the Canada geese-and pretty much ignored passing dogs and people. She has excellent car manners and enjoyed our stop at McDonald's for a plain hamburger. I really hope she finds her people soon!"
