Adoptable Hot Rod is having a blast in foster with Katie and crew. We knew this rambunctious big boy had the bones to be a great family pet but just needed the outlet to shine. A yard, hiking, a playful companion dog, his safe kennel to chill, some leash training and more. I can see this guy as a hiking or nodding partner with a yard, another friendly dog and lots of training with love. Around 30 lbs and 2 years? He is neutered, clean in kennel, a true people loving dog. He will correct a pushy dog and then back off. He loves friendly dogs.
He loves children and babies. Hotrod loved attending a dog adoption event enjoying meeting friendly dogs and people. He sat nicely at a picnic table and gently took bits of human food from a volunteer’s hand. He ate happily with another friendly beagle at the event.

From his foster:

“He is a very nice dog. Crate, trained, housebroken, does well with pretty much all other dogs at my house and two of them can be grouchy. Fed separately in kennel, no juicy treats or chews. Hot Rod will chase one of the cats, but the rest he seems to ignore.”
