Ready to hear from Hot Fudge Sundae's foster? The below text is what they have to say about her!
"Hot Fudge Sundae is just like you would expect- she is a giant sweetheart! She gets along great with the other dogs and loves to play. She is about 6 months old and mostly dark brown and white, with soft, long, fluffy fur. She loves to spend time with people and get pets. She is treat motivated, so we think she would enjoy going to dog training and learning tricks. She has not been a big barker while in her foster home. She is a Squirrel Warrior and can be often found sitting attentively, staring up at the trees. She is so thankful for her second chance, and will be a wonderful, loving pet for her family."

Hot Fudge Sundae is a 7-month-old female Great Pyrenees mix. She currently weighs about 48lbs. We are guessing that she will top out in the 70-80lb range.

??To Hot Fudge Sundae's Future Family??
-----------------------------------------

? Sundae likes to sniff, but does get a little shy on her leash. She is not used to walking on a leash, but we're working on it. She tends to drop/ lay down. We are patient with her so she can learn that she doesn't have to be scared when walking on a leash. Sundae does GREAT on car rides! She is very excited when she first gets in the car but does settle down after about 10 minutes. Hot Fudge Sundae does great meeting our neighbors. She loves to meet new people! She is a dog who wants to be with her people. Sundae doesn't jump on people but does give kisses!

? Sundae will chase after tennis balls and stuffed toys. She is working on the bringing it back (fetch) part. We don't think she had much chance to practice fetch prior to coming into the rescue group. Sundae does great in the bathtub. She will stand still and let you shampoo her. Her favorite part of bathtime is getting Toweled Off. She LOVES that! Sundae loves to play with toys! She will carry them around the yard, and may pull the stuffing out, so keep an eye on her!
-Hot Fudge Sundae has not shown to have any issues with food aggression or resource guarding in her foster home.

?Hot Fudge Sundae is potty and kennel trained. She isn't a really a fan of the kennel but does go in with a treat. Sundae is still a puppy, so she enjoys chewing on nylabones, oinkies, and kongs. She is food motivated and excited to learn new tricks. Hot Fudge Sundae has not shown to be a big barker in her foster home.

? We are unsure how Hot Fudge Sundae would do in an apartment setting. If someone was home a lot, and on the more active side she would probably be fine.

?Hot Fudge Sundae is being fostered around other dogs. Her foster doesn't have any kids or cats. Sundae gets along great with all of her littermates, and her fosters two bossy dogs. She is popular- the other puppies love to play with her. We think Sundae would do well with kids. She is a young puppy, so preferably kids who are dog savvy, or old enough to not get knocked over if she gets excited.

?? Adopting Hot Fudge Sundae ??

Sundae spent her first 6 months outside, not getting much human interaction. Her ideal home would have a family who will love her to bits! Her energy level will match that of her home. She can get a little scared going to new places (like the vet's office, for example), and there have been several times we've had to pick her up and carry her inside our house, and into the vet office. She is SO full of personality, though! She would do well in a home with another playful dog who can help build her confidence. She would also do well in a single dog home if her owners were there most of the time to play with her/ give her attention.

Hot Fudge Sundae is being fostered in Tulsa, OK. Her new family needs to be able to pick her up(even if they are out of state). No commercial transports and no shipping. Just a fun road trip with her and her new family! ?

Her adoption fee is $225. That includes two sets of puppy shots and wormings. She will also have had a bordetella. She will be micro-chipped, have a fecal done, be de-wormed, be spayed/neutered, and will be current on heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.
