I’m Little Hoss! I turn 1 year old on October 9, 2023, so I’m still a puppy. I LOVE to eat, especially anything sweet, as I haven’t always had enough food available. I’ve earned a reputation of the Purple PAWS Cookie Monster.
I’m clever and outgoing, and I demand a lot of attention from my human. I want to be cuddled and played with. Unfortunately, according to my foster mommy, I need to learn to stop the bitties. I don’t understand the difference between human and dog when I play. I bark and bite noses and hands playfully. I do this to dogs too and don’t know about personal boundaries.
Potty training is coming along. I get distracted then suddenly remember I have to pee, and then find a dog bed to go on. Leash training is going much better. I’m loving dog walks! Each time a car passes, I give it a little chase then continue on my way.
I do well in the kennel unless I know you’re home. In that case, I’ll try to convince you to let me out. I’m quiet if you leave right away.
I’m only 30 lbs, yet growing fast. I came to Purple PAWS nearly starved and dehydrated. Foster mom thinks I should be about 40 lbs when I reach a healthy body.
