Description:

Hopps is a tricolor Husky - Cattle Dog shepherd mix, of about one year old. He has lots of spots, a white tuxedo, and one of his eyes is half blue.

Personality :

Hopps is a good boy ! He has a super sweet disposition and loves belly rubs. Hopps is very playful and makes friends with every dog and person he meets instantly. He looks like he has a permanent smile on his face, usually with his tongue hanging out. He understands you, tries to talk to you, and is a good listener. He gives hugs and kisses and is excited to be alive.
He wants to greet every stranger and play with every dog. No formal introductions required. He loves to go on walks and does well on a leash and in the car. The vets commented on how easy and cooperative he was to give vaccines. As long as he is getting attention he is happy. He is passive with other dogs and is just curious about them.

Background:

Hopps was found wandering inside of a CVS pharmacy on 1960 on a rainy day. One customer was willing to grab him and take him to get scanned for a microhip. He did not have one. His finder posted on the Nextdoor app about the found dog but no one responded. So they kept him in their backyard for 2 months while they tried to find a rescue to take him, because they didn't want to dump him at a big animal shelter with an unknown fate. They did the right thing and took him to Emancipet low cost clinic to get him tested and vaccinated and he was very healthy!
