Meet Hope

Hi! My name is Hope and I am ready for my new forever family. My ideal home would be one where someone is home most of the time. I am still a little rattled from living on the street in Texas and I dont like being alone. I will also need a crate in case you do have to leave me because if I am not crated, I will climb up on any and every surface to look out the window for you. When I got to my second foster family I couldnt be alone for even a second but now I can go for short periods of time as long as my foster sister Ziva is around to keep me calm. I even stayed calm for several hours the other night while my foster parents were outside in the yard. Ziva and I watched out the window and I felt ok about being separated. So, I would prefer to be in a home with another calm older dog that makes me feel safe. If someone is home with me I am a perfect little angel; I am calm, friendly and a joy to be around. I know sit, come, wait, up and Im working on down and give me five. Im also a great eater and I like being fed morning and evening. My foster dad is impressed with how well I walk on a leash, and I cant wait to go for a run once the doctor says I can come off crate rest. Having heartworm is a bummer deal but Im happy I had my last treatment today. If your looking for a great companion that loves people I may be able to help you with that as long as you agree to rub my belly each day! Cant wait to meet you!!
Blessings
Hope
