Honeybee is 5 years old and weighs approx 7 lbs. She is a puppy mill dog survivor rescued from the life of breeding.
Honeybee LOVES her person and enjoys lap time. She prefers the company of women. She is fearful and will bark incessantly at men. She likes to "claim" her person and can be possessive about another person approaching them. She would do best in a female only home and someone who will work with her possessive nature and utilize a trainer. Her actions stem from insecurity, so training will help her to balance out her insecurity and know the proper way to react when things intimidate her. A person who will be a strong pack leader and not let Honey have her way is what Honey needs.
Honeybee is not a fan of small children and she will chase them and bark. She would be best suited in a home without children under the age of 12 living in the home. She is considered a flight risk and a home with a secure physical fence will be required.
Honeybee's adoption fee is $365. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped and on flea and heart worm prevention. Visit our website for our application leiashope.org.
