Meet this CAJUN QUEEN!
We have had her for a little more than two years:
She weighs 65-70 lbs
1 year remaining on her 3-year rabies vaccine
Looking to find a home for our beloved dog, Honey. We are moving full-time into our small truck bed camper with our 8-month-old son and traveling indefinitely. We know this will not be comfortable for her (she is getting older, and these are very cramped quarters, even for a young dog). My husband rescued her from Louisiana (he found her abandoned at a store), so we don't know her background, but we believe she is around 14 years young. She is excellent with children (all people) and cats but does show aggression toward some dogs, especially on the leash. That being said, she has lived lovingly alongside our other dog (who we have found a home for) and gets along with dogs when she is correctly introduced to without issue. We have treated her for heartworm upon getting her, and other than that, she is in good health for an older lady pup. She is a loyal, loving cuddle bug, and it breaks our hearts that we have yet to find her a home, so any help/support you can provide is greatly appreciated.




Current owner hopes Honey Dog gets a new home like this:
One where she has a fenced in yard/porch to lay out in the sunshine, owners who would allow her to cuddle on the couch with them and give her lots of affection, a home surrounded in comfort, safety and love as she lives out her golden years.
