Meet Honey & Blaze

Honey and Blaze have been through thick and thin together, and while they’d love to stay together, they’re also adaptable enough to thrive separately. Whether you have other pets or not, they’ll fit right into your home with their friendly and loving nature. If you’re looking for a dog (or two!) with a story of survival, loyalty, and endless love, Honey and Blaze are ready to meet you.

Blaze-The Gentle Husky is a stunning male husky with a cuddly personality and a voice you’ll love to hear. Found alongside Honey in Bastrop, he’s the proud father of her litter and a true gentleman. He’s crate trained, house trained, knows his basic commands, and is always polite. Like a true husky, he’ll let you know when he’s hungry or needs to go out—with a signature husky howl, of course! And if you howl at him? He’ll gladly talk back. He's not a barker and won't be loud in the yard or when the doorbell rings. He typically only talks when he wants to let you know something.

Blaze is up to date on shots, neutered, and incredibly social with both people and other dogs. He’s never met a stranger, only new friends waiting for belly rubs. Whether you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy or the perfect couch companion, Blaze is your guy.

Honey – The Fearless Lovebug
Honey is a red heeler with a heart as big as her story. Rescued as a stray in Bastrop alongside her partner in crime, Blaze, she has endured hardships but emerged with nothing but love to give. Despite losing an eye after being shot by a landowner, Honey never lost her spirit—she even fought off a mountain lion to protect her puppies!

Now fully healed, spayed, and up to date on all her shots, Honey is ready for her forever home. She’s crate trained, house trained, and fiercely loyal. But above all, she’s one of the most affectionate dogs you’ll ever meet—always eager to cuddle and soak up pets. With other dogs, she’s social and sweet, never showing aggression. Honey is the definition of resilience, wrapped up in a soft, loving package.

They do well on a leash, in a yard, and are potty trained! . These two will make amazing pets!
