Originally found as a stray, Honey has known the uncertainty of life on her own--but through it all, she's remained respectful, thoughtful, and quietly affectionate.

Honey spent a few months in a home where she got along well with a younger male dog, but struggled to bond with a dominant female dog. She's shown she can be a wonderful companion with the right match and would likely do best as the only dog or with a calm, respectful canine friend. Honey has also shown some resource guarding around food, but she's incredibly polite and will sit and wait patiently when asked--she just prefers her meals in peace and her space respected.

Because of her sensitivity and desire for a low-stress environment, Honey is looking for a home without young children. She thrives in quiet moments, loves being outdoors, and walks beautifully on a leash. She already knows several commands, is muzzle trained, and is eager to please the people she trusts.
