Homer is thought to be 3 to 4 years old. Appears to have been neutered. Homer was found on St. Rt. 691 and Poston Road, Athens. He currently weighs 83 pounds. Homer is currently being treated for burned/raw paw pads. Meeting dogs is by appointment only. Please call the shelter (740/593-5415) to make an appointment. All adopters must bring in kids and other dogs in the household for a meet and greet before adoption.
Adoption fees are $125 ($65 for dogs 7 years old and older) and include dog license, basic vaccinations, heartworm test on adult dogs, and spay or neuter (ARRIVED 6/17/25).
