Meet Holly (ADOPTED!)

**HOLLY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!** Holly might be your girl if you are looking for a friendly, playful, loving, and adorable medium-sized pup! Holly is a 35-pound mixed-breed female pooch searching for a forever home. She is estimated to be between 10-12 months old and appears to be a Husky mix, possibly with Shiba Inu, Jindo, or another similar breed. Pal's Place rescued Holly from an over-burdened, open-intake animal control facility in Kentucky after devastating floods ravaged the county. She is now in a loving foster home in Chicago, awaiting adoption. Holly is a friendly and affectionate dog with a contagious joy for life. She loves to run and go for long walks, and she loves to play with her toys. She gets along with the other dogs in her foster home and enjoys their company. Holly is generally well-behaved, but it does not seem like she's had any training or direction in her past. Her ideal home will be with guardians who can help her learn some basic commands and manners. She still has a lot of puppy in her and can be a bit mouthy and jumpy when she plays, so homes with children aged 8+ will be the best match for her. Holly is quiet in the home, crate trained, and does well with her housebreaking when kept on a regular schedule. She will make a phenomenal companion for an active and fun-loving family. We think this precious girl will be a popular pup, so get your application in today if you are interested in meeting her! Holly is currently in a foster home on Chicago's northside and can be seen by appointment once an adoption application is completed and approved by the rescue. Her adoption fee to the rescue is $375. She is recently spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested (negative), and taking monthly flea and heartworm prevention. She is ready to go home today! For more information or an application, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com or visit palsplacerescue.org. We cannot hold our dogs for any reason. Please do not apply unless you are ready to meet and welcome a new companion into the home within three days of applying.
