Meet Holly

Posting for a dog trainer and the organization is Mayor's Alliance. This dog was rescue during Hurricane Sandy and sent to a dog trainer in Rochester. She has been looking for a home because she was forgotten in the kennel. The adoption fee is $100.00 but will be returned to you when you take a couple of free obedience lessons from Karlene at Animal Behavior Specialists. She is a animal behaviorist that holds a Master's degree from Cornell University. This dog is trained and housebroken.

Her back story:

She was picked up as a 6-7 month old puppy the week before Hurricane Sandy in Long Island. Mayor's Alliance was asked to take her into their rescue because everyone in the shelter would be euthanize because of the pending hurricane and they would need space for dogs that were displaced. She arrived in Rochester that year to be trained by Animal Behavior Specialists because she was shy.

She had a hard time getting adopted because of her breed and color. She has been waiting for a home for over 7 years. She is a nice dog, sweet and likes other dogs. She is shy but warms up after two days.

Will you consider this brave girl who has no nothing but a kennel cage her whole life? She needs a positive moment in her life and we are praying you will share this note high and low. We can arrange a pilot n paws flight if you are out of town.

Holly is spayed, current on vaccinations and has been on heart worm preventative her whole life. She needs a break and please apply on our website at http://duffysfriends.org. Your adoption fee of $100.00 will be returned to you when you take a few lessons from Karlene. She wants you to know how she is trained and what words and commands to use.

Thank you - adopt a homeless pet and change the life of that beautiful dog.
