Hogan Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler & Hound Mix Springfield, MO

"Where would be the merit if heroes were never afraid." My name is Hogan. I am a 35 pound, 2 year old Heeler/Hound mix, and I am looking for someone to join me in being a hero. I may not be the bravest dog in the world and you may not be the bravest human in the world, but I know that we can take on the world together. So what would it take for you to be my hero? I love other dogs and will need another dog in my forever home; I just love having someone to play with who is like me! I also get along great with cats and have done well around older children (the smaller little humans are a little too scary for me though). I need a privacy fenced yard because I am still getting used to walking on a leash and can climb those shorter, chain link fences, so no apartments for me please. Finally, I need someone who will understand that lots of things in this world are new to me, and be patient and help me get used to everything new. Some people may look at me and just see my fears, but deep down I know that a true hero is someone who is brave even when they are afraid, and I am learning how to be braver every day! My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
