Hoagie's Story
Hoagie is a 2.5-year-old, 67-pound doodle mix who’s equal parts goofball and lovebug! This happy boy adores people and is always up for a good romp in the yard or a walk with his favorite humans. He’s got that classic doodle energy—playful, affectionate, and always ready to make you smile.
Hoagie is currently working on his potty training, but with consistency and patience, we think he’ll catch on quickly! Hoagie loves being outdoors, soaking up the sunshine, and getting all the pets and attention he can. If you’re looking for a big, cheerful companion who will bring laughter and love to your days, Hoagie might just be your perfect sandwich—I mean, match!

Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!

Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid
