Meet Kiwi
Hey there! My name is Kiwi. I am an adorable, 1-year-old, 34 lb., Heeler mix gal. I have a lot of energy, and I love to play with toys! I also love to play fetch! Since I have so much energy, I need a fenced yard to run and play. Another dog my size to play with would be great too.
I am still working on house training and crate training. I am almost there, but I sometimes still have an accident if I'm not let out regularly. I will whine some in my crate when you leave. I settle down pretty quickly though. I'm not too sure if I could resist chasing cats, so it would probably be best if I didn't have any in my home. I like kids, but older kids only for me. I'm a heeler, and I love to herd small beings around!
I am a graduate of the Pups for Parole training program. I have all the basic training necessary to make a great companion. I will need a family willing to continue my training, I sure don't want to forget all that I've learned! Please fill out an application today, and let's start forever together!
My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*
