Meet Hermy
He comes in a small, compact body and is a perfect gentleman that you
need in your life! Everyone meet Hermy, an approximately 3 year old compact pocket pitte! Hermy was adopted from our local shelter in 2021 and was unfortunately found as a wondering stray in December 2022, at which point he found himself on the euthanasia list – which is how he became a Misfit. This pet is neutered, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, heart-worm negative, and micro-chipped!
We have no idea how any family could let this dog go and not search for him because he is perfect! He is potty trained, does great with dogs, has zero interest in cats, and is the perfect size! Hermy is a super self-sufficient guy. He plays with his foster siblings in short spurts, but he is happy entertaining himself with a ball or bone.
Hermy lives with foster siblings of all sizes and ages and does great with everyone. He is actually a very non-confrontational dog, so if someone wants to play and he would rather do something else, he just kind of turns away and does his thing. Hermy does great in a kennel and will even lay in his kennel with his toys when the door is open. Hermy is also happy to just lay beside you on the couch quietly and never requires much extra attention.
Hermy does pull a bit on a leash, but he is just excited about the next adventure! He can be a little unsure in the car. The first couple of times in the car he was absolutely terrified, but with each ride, he relaxes a little bit more (makes us wonder a bit about what happened in his previous life). Hermy loves treats and will sit as handsome as can be if you ask him about a treat. This boy has not been handed the best life so far, but deserves everything a loving family and home can offer him and we are determined to find that perfect family for him!
