Meet Hercules von Holzen
Hercules von Holzen is a stunning 3 year old Central Asian Shepherd.
Could you see yourself walking these two incredible dogs? All eyes would be on you! They have been equated to mystical beings. Athena and Hercules are Central Asian Shepherds and, although they are livestock guardians, they would rather curl up by the fire or take a leisurely stroll with their foster mom. Their earlier lives are a mystery; we got them from an animal shelter we frequently work with. They are very sensitive and were struggling after losing their home. They wouldn’t eat anything but, now with a loving foster mom who cooks for them, they are eating once again. Athena and Hercules are housebroken and are living with cats -- so far so good. They also seem fine with all dogs they have met. They don’t enjoy hustle and bustle and prefer to have a quieter area to stroll around in or just bask in the sun. They are lower energy and happy to chill. Hercules is about 3 years old and weighs 103 lbs. Beautiful Athena is about 2 yrs old and a slim 80 pounds. We would like to place them together, so please spread the word; these special souls need to find a nurturing forever home.
