Hey there! I’m Hera, but don’t let my name fool you—I’m not the queen of Olympus, but rather the Queen of Fun! At just 3 months old, I’ve got all the spunk and energy of a demigod on a quest, and I’m ready to take on the world with my playful, inquisitive spirit.
So, let’s get into it. My people think I’m a Heinz 57 shepherd mix. I’ve got an awesome track record with other dogs. I’ve shared a foster home with my brother Zeus and 2 30-pound foster sisters, and we’ve had a blast together. I’m also totally cool with cats—no need to worry about any feline drama with me around.
My favorite activities? Oh, where do I start! I love splashing in my water bowl and horsing around outside. I’ve got this hilarious move where I pretend to stalk my playmates—think of it as my own little quest for the perfect playtime. I also like to race around the yard with my faster foster sibling; it’s like my personal Olympic event.
I've met lots of adults and love everyone who will join in the fun or give me an ear scritch, and while I haven't met any kids yet I'm sure I'd love them too!
Right now, I sleep through the night in a pen with my brother but haven't tried a crate yet (Hey, a dog's gotta start somewhere). I’ll use the doggie door, though I'm still working on the potty training part.
Being alone? Not my thing. If I must be alone, I prefer having a companion to keep the monsters at bay. I also speak up for myself if I'm uncomfortable... or excited!
