Meet Henry. He has entered a new chapter of his life with the help of a Good Samaritan who couldn’t let him go another day without access to enough food, clean water, and a hygienic environment. He’s approximately two years old and is believed to be a cattle dog mix. Not unlike other cattle dogs, Henry is high energy and is happiest when he’s mentally stimulated and physically active. He lives for fetch, his Kong, and peanut butter treats. Also drawn to dogs large and small, Henry’s always happy to engage them and want to play.

Despite being neglected and left to contend with fleas outside most of his young life, Henry’s highly trusting of humans. Extremely loyal and affectionate, he turns into a cuddle buddy at night who’s grateful just to be part of the pack. He’s took to housetraining quickly and has proven to be a fast learner. His perfect adopter would be someone who is willing to continue teaching him all the manners he was never taught so he will mature into the pet perfect he very much wants to be (e.g. how to be playful without being mouthy, etc.).
