Henry Shepherd Mix Flagstaff, AZ

Henry is an 8 month old male Shepherd mix. He was rescued from Navajo National Monument, emaciated, and with a serious leg injury, with a bullet to the knee that had also ruptured his ACL. He went through surgical repair of that injury and has been in a foster home on crate rest and physical therapy, and has progressed to using his injured leg again.

Henry is a very affectionate boy who loves to play with other dogs and toys. He's been on recovery rest following a surgery, but that doesn't stop him from sharing some love.

He will cuddle up by you and kennels very well. He rides in a vehicle and wears a harness. Housebroken and will do his business on a leash. Enjoys public visits with people and pets.

Henry will do best with a family that is willing to continue his Physical Therapy while he recovers from a bullet wound to his knee. He has come so far and the time has come for his fur-ever family. Another canine playmate would be fun for him as he lives with 3 other dogs now.

Henry is a very smart dog, with a strong need to bond that can melt your heart, and continuing learning, rehab and training would be ideal for him. We are looking for that special person or family that will love this boy as he has been loved by us in rescue. Henry is being fostered in Flagstaff. Henry's adoption fee is $125 plus $25 chip fee.
